Trapping

Discover winter and experience a trap line adventure in the heart of western Yukon. Trapping is a very old Canadian industry and we are fortunate that it is a part of our lifestyle. Our trap line is well established with trails and cabins developed throughout the area accessible only by snowmobile.   Our line produces excellent fur offering clients an opportunity to trap WOLF, WOLVERINE, LYNX, MARTEN, FOX and COYOTE.

This is a great adventure for those who want the chance to trap and run a line with a licensed professional skilled trapper/ outfitter with over 30 years of knowledge and hands on experience.  Learn about different traps and snares and how to do sets, proper fur handling techniques, trap line management, humane harvest, furbearer management, fur marketing, trappers’ rights, outdoor survival and safety and general history.  Come join us for a true adventure in the north and have an opportunity to help harvest some of the predators and fur bearing animals.

Stay in warm, comfortable cabins and eat good hearty home-cooked meals.  You will be traveling the line by snowmobile and may visit other smaller remote camps overnight depending on conditions and weather.  To top off your northern experience you might even get a sneak peak of a true ‘Northern Lights’ Show while you enjoy the peace and solitude of a cool, clear winter’s eve in the snowy Yukon wilderness. Something everyone should experience in there life.
